Questions
Here
are the answers to most frequently asked questions about videos.
What
kind of equipment do you use? What are your qualifications? Do
you always offer DVD as the final edited video? How
long will our edited tape be in length? How long after
the event will it take to receive the edited DVD? Are
you unobtrusive while shooting our wedding? How do
you capture sound? Are you willing to travel? Is
there an advantage in hiring the same company to do both photography and video? How
do we get started? What kind
of equipment do you use?
We only use the newest
three Chip broadcast quality digital cameras; the high quality of our cameras
allows us to avoid blinding lights. These cameras provide you with the sharpest
images and most accurate colors. Our editors use latest non-linear editing software
to produce a memorable DVD of your event.
What
are your qualifications?
Please visit About Us
section of our website for the bio of our team.
Do
you always offer DVD as the final edited video?
Yes,
all our wedding videos are on DVD, which is far superior in quality to VHS. We
no longer offer any VHS tapes unless you specially require one.
How
long will our edited tape be in length?
At your
event, we usually shoot 2.5 to 3.5 hours of raw unedited footage. We edit that
to a watch able DVD of about one hour. At that length it is easier to watch repeatedly,
show it to your family and friends and easier to create the feel of a film or
a TV program. You can purchase the complete raw footage on a separate DVD, if
you wish.
How long after
the event will it take to receive the edited DVD?
Usually, about
30 days from your wedding day.
Are you
unobtrusive while shooting our wedding?
Yes, very
much so. We never use big lights, only on camera lights. We do not use bulky video
carts; we do our work as we try to remain unnoticed.
How
do you capture sound?
We use wireless microphones
to capture your vows and other special moments.
Are
you willing to travel?
Yes, we travel locally or
out of the area. Travel expenses may apply.
Is
there an advantage in hiring the same company to do both photography and video?
Yes.
Our studio offers both photography and videography. With A Fine Image you have
the advantage of one team working together for you. When you have a videographer
and a photographer from different companies, sometimes they may not coordinate
well together. We are experienced in working as a team to give you the best photographs
and video.
How do we get started?
Simply
call us or drop us an e-mail to make an appointment to see our demo DVD. We are
confident that you will be very pleased with the quality of our work.
